I have the same type towbar. Unfortunately, now my bumper mounts are torn and wallowed from using it. Fortunately I can get it wire welded up by some friends, but what a pain in a butt............. /

Put your bumper back on and see if it will wobble up and down. If not, you are ok. Mine does, one hard bump and I now have paint scratched off on the front wing corner...........
