How important is 'puter management of the ignition process, would you say, with a heavily boosted engine? I'm thinking it's necessary to do things right, tied to the MAP and maybe the wastegate (?)..

Is anybody out there using a plain old distributor and coil ignition, or has everybody except me gone to Multiple Spark Discharge, HEI or other cosmic 21st century stuff like flywheel triggered, etc.

Dick, I THINK you just need the 6a box, the HEI has a coil. At least my MSD wiring diagram show a box wired up to an HEI with no other components. MSD is in Texas, mebbe a quick call would be best. T
