- If it is a later car with steering lock you might try working the wheel back and forth some. Some have a cylinder shaped switch held in with a small screw. What do you have? Cheers, Derf

- OK, part 2 is the actual switch. It should be sandwiched with the lock cylinder in an assembly. It sounds like your switch is broken. Turning 360degrees isn't right either. So, maybe the sandwich has

- Assuming that your Midget is a newer model with the locking steering column, it could well be the locking tab that raises up when you turn the key to the off position. I have seen them get gunked up
