I have used DuPont Imron for years on frames and such with no problems at all until recently. I mix the activator and paint and started painting and it looked like a lot of air bubbles on the surface

One suggestion is to buy an empty paint can from Home Depot or somewhere and store the can of leftover activator inside. Pound the outside can lid on gently and it should seal airtight. A Mason or B

When sealing a can of paint, place a film of saran wrap across the open can first, this gives you a "seal" that really does seal the can, IMHO, its' better than just the metal to metal seal of a stan
