- I ended up removing the switch, disassembling it, and cleaning all the contacts, but first I would clean up the fuze contacts. That was *also* a problem I had. Dave '68 1600 Kailua-Kona

- My car's lights went out after sitting too: cleaned all the contacts/connection at the relay and all the plugs (at the lamps & where it goes to the harness) . Still no lights. What did the trick is t

- The exact same thing happened to my horn relay this year. Took it out, opened the relay, cleaned the contacts and voila sound! 66 Mike BTW I have had the switch go bad too on the lights!! it

- Just a quick thanks to everyone who offered advice on my headlamps / tail-lamps not working. I removed the fusebox ( if you can call it that ) and cleaned all the posts and wire ends. After reinstal
