I'd get the electronic ignition, preferably Pertronix. Easier starting, smoother idle and no more points hassle. If your stock starter starts the car, why not stick with it? Putting more than twice

I would go with a Petronix electronic iginition, third car I have put one on and no problems with any. Also I believe Grassroots Motorsports did a dyno test on these a few years ago and they also add
