It's normally on the RHS firewall, attached with a screw. In an MGB, at least, the wire colours are green on the B terminal and a light-green/green on the I terminal. It should also be marked TOP and

Interesting to note that it's on the LHS firewall of my 77MGB. That's the only location that the new wiring hrness would have placed it. Could it be that its location is bimodal due to its wish to be

It's a small rectangular metal box box attached to the firewall above the area where the bonnet release is located. It's largest dimension is about 1.5" as I recall. It's in the same vicinity as the

Look up on the firewall, more or less above your left knee, for a little metal box about 3/4 inch x 2 inch x 1/2 inch thick, fastened with one screw to the firewall. There will be two (maybe three)
