The paint doesn't stick to the aluminum at all. It's gone very quickly after a few thermal cycles. Falls off the transmission too.

The manifolds were certainly not fussed over to make sure the paint stayed on the aluminum castings but you can usually find traces in small fillets and corners, especially on the under side. On the
