You are wrong. It is only the USA that uses the month/day/year convention. Everywhere else in the world they use the day/month/year convention which makes much more sense like the metric system. So,

FWIW, when I was in the Air Force we used the "year/month/day" format which i liked much better. Took me a good while to stop using it. tom convention.
