Side curtain plexi can be bent to "pop" in or out. Old Pleci will probably break, use Lexan as replacement plexi, cut it exactly to the old size and pop it in. Cheap plexi usually breaks when popping

No the frame isn't welded. It's held together with screws and brackets internally. Take off the seal between the frame and the body, and between the uprights and the quarter windows, adn you'll see
