I have seen Pertronix units fail, but rarely. I still think that the problem is ignition at some point. If you have an ohm meter, you should meg out each spark plug lead. Be sure that you do not hav

It's good news that you identified the camshaft. Running at .016 did no harm and it was far better than running the .019 cam at .012. I keep hearing that if the Pertronix goes bad it dies, no stumbl
