Dear List, Quick question. I have a working 1959 TR3 temp gauge. I am going to do some clean up on it though. Can I unscrew the tube that goes to the sensor from the back of the gauge ? Or will that

The tube doesn't unscrew, the threads and nut only hold the gauge housing to the mechanism. The housing remains trapped on the tube. Personally, I wouldn't try undoing the nut on a working gauge, th
