- Well since my MGB seems to be running OK for now my wife is bugging me to get another project. She spied a 1985 Jaguar XJ-S with v-12. Does anyone have knowledge of anything in the nature of problems

- I absolutely *love* the XJS, and I almost had one. Until my mechanic warned me otherwise. Remember, in the 80s, Jaguar was built by BL -- which suffered horrid build quality. Immense quality control

- Hey- I've got three MGs and just bought an XJ-S too. What to look for: Any signs of overheating, ever. That includes clean spots near the overflow tank where hot coolant could have washed the inside
