I will pay dearly for this comment, but I believe a properly maintained Jag engine is very reliable as a daily driver. Not cheap if you pay others to do the work, though. A Chevy engine in a Jag? It'

If I owned a 67 XKE, I wouldn't convert it either! What I'm talking about is the run of the mill XJS that needs an engine. A proper rebuild on a Jag engine should only be done on the cars that deser

I can agree with that if the conversion is reversible and the original engine is kept in the garage somewhere.... :) Someday, who knows, maybe the XJS will be deserving. At the rate they hit the car
