- Has anyone ever heard of a Javelin Jupiter ? I'm going to see a '51 next week. Owner may be willing to part. But I haven't a clue what it is (other than British). Mike L.

- Jowett made a Javelin and a Jupiter. Javelin was a saloon, with flat-four engine. 47-53, with hydraulic brakes only from 50 (I think). Jupiter was a tubular chassis looking like a very peculiar TR3.

- I believe Jowett made (among other things) two different cars: a Javelin = and a Jupiter. I think one was a roadster and the other a sedan (OK, OK! = a saloon) , I don't remember which was which. May

- The Jowett Jupiter is a beautifull little 2-seat roadster and was made by Bradford based Jowett Co. It was based on the Javelin saloon and almost all aluminium. The engine was a horizontally-opposed
