What I have seen is that it is actually worth between 5-7 Horsepower on the dyno when you get everything done right. But when you only have say 45hp to start off with 5-7 more Hp is ALOT! I have used

My take on Jet-Hot coating was that they do not allow the heat from the headers to radiate outwards as freely, thus lowering the engine bay temperature. This in return allows the car to breathe coole

That is the theory, but I didn't see any real world evidence supporting the increased HP. On top of that, you can get a much better result by ducting cold air from the front of the car into the area
