- Thanks for the compliment! As for sensor placement, since we are only using the sensor as a visual guide, it doesn't need to be hot all the time...if it cools off, you just lose your reading, and get

- My Edelbrock model sensor is mounted on the upper horizontal section of the exhaust pipe on the right side. Easy to get at and not in the way of anything. Don't have headers, but it doesn't matter. B
