- Greetings all, I am searching for a spare set of key blanks for my 1972 Midget GAN5UC. Local lock smithie says they are not available to him. I think someone told me Volvo keys would work? Any Ideas

- They were available for a long time through the hardware store key suppliers like Curtis. They had the machine and the rotating think of blanks. The 72 Midget key was either AA-1 (Austin America) or

- Yes older Volvo blanks work, I have a Volvo key in one of my spare ignition columns. For the doors and boot, the blank is still in use today. My truck tool box lock has a Union key. Check house door/

- That was me, and I am not sure they will work or not. In my '79, my key is a Volvo blank, so I know they work for the '79. I am not sure whether the ignition lock is the same on a '72. --David C. ///
