A copy of a copy is rarely better than the copy, and neither will be as good as a new key. If you have numbers on your lock cylinders, give them to Pete Groh and he can make new keys from the numbers

Last year I got a new lockset for the trunk and the doors. It was probably from Mechspec. While the trunk lock seems to be unique, the old door locks work just fine with the new key. So I didn't both
