I've gone through all my books and can not find the torque setting for the kingpin nut . I have all the others! All my manuals say torque per Handbook Thanks for the Help. John 77MGB

Workshop manaul quotes figures for a number of items around front suspension and steering, but doesn't mention the kingpin nut. PaulH.

I would use a standard torque value for the thread size. The main thing is to maintain the end float clearance of .002 max. You will need to try differant thrust washer thicknesses to obtain this cle
