I did the heater control knobs with white enamel model paint, just the right consistency to stay on the raised grooves. That should work on the other knobs too if you have a steady hand and a fine br

If the letters are recessed into the knobs, you might try Liquid Paper (white out). It cleans off very easily, you should be able to wipe off anything outside of the grooves. Kim 68 2000 (4sale) 71 5

I gave up trying to be too fine, just sort of slopped the paint on and then wiped off the excess. I couldn't wipe off what was in the indents so it worked out pretty well. Bill 70 1600 San Diego ///
