Is there a way to determine if off the shelf spray paint is lacquer or not if it does not say on the front of the can. I see lots of "enamel" lots of "unspecified" and only a little lacquer at the ha

Check the time between coats listed on the can. Lacquer usually dries to the touch in a 2-5 minutes, depending on tempature and humidity. Enamel takes much longer. So if the time to recoat is anythin
