- My brother added a shim to his new brake master cylinder and wrote this: I did what they suggested about bleeding master etc. and i found one fat shim in our boxes and added that to the master.....a

- The master cylinder piston should return completely against the wire retainer in the cylinder bore near the back end. There should be a small amount of end play in the M/C pushrod when the brake ped
