My brother added a shim to his new brake master cylinder and wrote this: I did what they suggested about bleeding master etc. and i found one fat shim in our boxes and added that to the master.....a

The master cylinder piston should return completely against the wire retainer in the cylinder bore near the back end. There should be a small amount of end play in the M/C pushrod when the brake ped
