Is the horn switch on late model MGs not in the center of the wheel? I've been playing with steering wheels lately and it seems as though one I just received has no horn provision. Cheers, Derf

68 and 69 had the horn on the stalk, with the last of the spoke steering wheel. It went to the centre on the new steering wheel in 1970. If it went back to the stalk, I was not aware of it

OK, if you believe the Moss catalog...the '67 had a horn button, the '68 did not. The wheels look the same, but the one with the horn button is $90 more. BZ

My '69 Sprite has the horn on the end of the turn signal stalk. I invariably get failed during inspections for a non-functioning horn. :) Greg

I think 68-70 had stalk and 77-78 had stalk. Late 70-76 and Bugeye to 67 had center wheel push. So, Bugeye to 1967 center wheel push 68-70 stalk 70-76 center wheel push 77-78 stalk

It's center of the wheel on Peter's Sprite. 65-67 are all identicle. 68- somewhere in 70 was all stalk mounted and the steering wheel looked the same but had a smaller (5/8") hub. what I have gathere

RBs had center push idiot proof till about 77, then came the 4 spoke plastic wheels and horns on stalks. Stalks are for beans, not horns.

The car is on about it's 4th aftermarket wheel but the horn has always been on the boss and the steering column is the type that has the wire for the boss. Daniel1312
