I have been fighting a nasty oil leak through the bolt on the rear tappet cover. Is there supposed to be some kind of seal there or what? Washers don't work. Thanks for the advice. Warren wpruitt@hom

Sure is. It's a molded rubber washer that pops into the bolt hole. Flat metal washer goes on top. They're in the catalogs. CR

The nut should turn down onto a metal saucer-shaped washer that in turn squeezes down onto a rubber washer. If the metal washer is missing or the rubber washer doesn't fit it right, it leaks. Bob On
