Has the carb been rebuilt before?? It is fairly common that it's just an O-ring where the hose connects to the float chamber. If that is the case, you can just take off the carb, go through that hose

Thanks Phil, I will try to verify this, though as the hose is braided with a wire coil, it might be difficult 100% proof. Replacing the o-ring could be easy to do anyway. Yes the carb has been rebuil

Like Phil I recommend you just check/replace the O-ring first, but if the leak is from where the pipe goes into the gland then replacement is probably the only option. If you have fixed needles then
