Underneath my MK1a is an arc of rear end oil where it was slung by the Ujoint or drive shaft as it leaked out of the front of the rear end. What part(s) should I order to fix this? Just a seal? I gue

You may need to install a speedy sleeve on the yoke's seal surface if there is any serious grooving. Chris in Trinidad

You need a new pinion seal. They're readily available from your parts store. Pry out the old seal with a screw driver. Note the original seal may have used leather. The new and improved seal uses rub

Sorry about leaving the seal number out of my response. I have one in my hot hands right now. Its a National # 5778. I read about it in an old CAT tech tip years ago. Seems the English seal actually
