Hi Rob, Just a few comments: 1. Is the vacuum capsule on the dizzy working? Should retard the timing when connected. Timing is to be set with the capsule connected. If not spend 10 bucks on new elbow

Rob, it sounds like the Catalytic Converter is too far from the Exhaust manifold to reach sufficient burn temperatures. On my '77 and '78 it's only inches from the exhaust manifold. You may also want

1. The vacuum advance is tested and working properly. I don't believe I have a Dizzy, a dizzy?. My vac line runs from the carb's back to the distrubutor, I have points, not electronic ignition. 2. I
