Is 5th in the datsun box a 1:1 or an overdrive? If it is a 1:1, then why not just use a BMC 3.7 diff and leave the ribcase box? 1/2 hour for a diff change and that is it! Mike screamer... on lowers 4

Fastest I have gone is 7200 rpm, 3.7 diff, 205/6013 Hoosier Street TDs in my racecar. This was in turn one at Phillip Island so it was a hairy ride - and onto the brakes and change to 3rd for souther
