Had a discussion with AH Spares some years ago about the length of their carb sealing strip (their part no. BON125, original part no. AHB9095). This is the long rubber strip that attaches to the lip

Seems to me that the strip is longer for the tricarbs and shorter for those of you with carb envy and have only two. Charlie '62 BT7 tricarb

On the 6 port 6 cylinder cars prior to the tricarb Mk 2 the strip was 18" long with the lip facing outboard. On all subsequent cars the strip is 26" long. Rich Chrysler
