My TR3 is getting killed by point deductions at CVAR. I want to replace the rear tube shocts with lever shocks. Will late TR4, TR250, TR6 shocks work on a TR3? What is the secret elixir to put inside

The TR3 and TR4 (early) will all work for your car. I believe the later TR4 shock lever arms and all TR4A thru T R6 shock lever arms are different. The shocks themselves are the same but the arms ar

I believe you'll also find the valving was different on some of these. I don't have information on how different. Perhaps a call to a place like Apple Hydraulics might shed light on that issue. Russ

I can see that the lever arms are different. The later ones have a boss for the bump stop. However, if the arms are the same length and at the same angle, the later models should work in an earlier c
