Didn't know the reason, but mine sure clouded up on the surface and in fact the areas that had the most heat and bending were ther first to go. Due to the 3d curve in the Tiger Hard top rear window I

Jim, Sounds like the rubber and rear window came either from CAT or Victoria British. Even though a CAT member and fan, this particular window did not fit the hard top. Maybe later versions do. Sunbe
