You don't say what state you are in so I'm not sure what you can get away with. Most states allow 7 characters on a personalized plate. Is an 'antique' plate considered the same as a personalized pl

You'll find most plates with "ALPINE" will be gone. I had to pick "MY ALP 2". I got my regular plates and then started to try and pick out something special. Be VERY wary of "antique" vehicle plates
