I have a problem with my Series V Alpine Reversing lights. Instead of coming on only in reverse like they used to, they now come on in reverse but also in 3rd and Top They are are off in 1st and 2nd.

You need to have a look at the wiring on this again. It's important that the OD unit is wired properly. If it is not disengaging in reverse, it will screw up the OD unit. Sounds to me like the back u

On my S2 gearbox top plate, their are two devices to read current. One is for the backup lights when the lever is left and down, and the other is the lockout for the OD unit. Brent

The other thing to remember is that on the all synchro box used in the series 5, things are reversed. Reverse is selected right and back. regards Jeff -- Jeff Howarth
