Just to be a little more clear on my email below, the frame on the early BN4s does not attach to the wooden front bow, as on every other 6 cylinder Healey. I noticed in the Anderson/Moment book that

There is a rubber clip the same as the one that hods the hood prop rod behind the drivers seat on the fender well. Then there is a bent rod on the bottom of the top frame. This goes into the rubber c
