I am new to the list and have a just purchased a 72 MGB. The low beam on the headlamps will not come on. The high beam works fine and I have replaced both headllights with new sealed beams. Any help

Before digging into the switch try the easy stuff first. The head lights are fed by a single blue/red wire. The wire goes into a connector that has two other wires in it. . The side of the connector

When the same thing happened on Tintin, it turned out that I had snagged the lower wire to the light toggle. Your switch setup may be different, but it may be as simple as that! I dismantled the dimm
