The suspension is currently removed from my '78 MGB for various work. I have been getting sweaty palms over the idea of lowering the beastie an inch on reassembly- after all, now is the perfect time.

My Roadster was lowered this way, with Turn Six 480lb front springs. Very easy, no noticable tire wear or steering problems, excellent handling with lowered (de-arched) rear springs, a great autocros
