Hi all, I've been working on lubing the suspension on my 74 chrome bumpered Midget. I've replaced all the bad grease fittings & can now pump grease into all but the top fitting on the swivel axel - b

The best, and surest method is disassembly. That, however, is not the easiest way to go. You can, if you are very, very careful, heat the top of the swivel axle. Use a small propane torch "on idle",

Remove the grease fitting, and heat the top of the spindle assembly with a propane torch. It will melt the old grease out. Be careful not to burn anything, it didn't take too much heat when I did it.
