If anyone doesn't have halogens they are really missing something. Shop close out shops, etc.. for bargains like this. I found a junk shop with boxes of GE's that nobody would buy. They were marked $

Hey guys, I have the original Lucas headlamps, and they do not have replaceable bulbs. They are sealed beams, like the American ones. One of the reasons is that California code required “sealed beams

In the defense of the Prince of Darkness our '71 MGB-GT still has its original and working Lucas headlamps. They broadcast wonderful illumenation at night... when we're out in the country... far away

My snake has the original Lucas lamps too, but they're pretty useless IMO. I'll probably switch to Halogens. BTW, Lucas makes Halogen bulb headlamps, but I don't know if they are available in the US
