A while back someone on the list indicated they had a selection of new/old shank style lug nuts for minilite wheels. Seems they are no longer availble from minilite. Does that person still have them?

I'm converting my TR-4 (vintage racer)from wire wheels to mags. On the front wheels I torgued the studs to 35 ft.lbs and the lug nuts to 65 lbs. No problem. On the rear hubs I did the same thing exc

I've been torquing triumph lug nuts to 50# front and back. I don't remember what the manual says, but someone told me 50# was all you should do with an aluminum wheel. Again, that could have been the

Probably a wise choice. But if the aluminum wheels have steel liners where the lug nuts secure, it has been recommended to me that 90# is preferred. What say the list on that? Joe (C)

I used 7/16 Moroso wheel studs with heads and screwed them in from the back. Then used the wheel as an alignment fixture and tack welded the heads. Now, of course, the rear sports the Southwick Axle

I've been torquing the lug nuts on the Spit at 65 -70 ft. lbs. and there have been no problems. Mind you these are 7/16 studs for the TR6 and McGuard nuts. My $.02, Bob T.
