The suffix EXU refers to the 1949 models that were made especially for export to the USA. They had 7" headlights instead of the earlier 8" lights, bumpers fore and aft, two horns under the hood inst

Sorry Charlie, It was at the other end of the spectrum. TC # 9846 was built about Oct 3, 1949 and TC #10066 was built about Oct 27, 1949. So #10006 was probably built around the third week of October
