I'm not answering your question, but the weirdest use I've ever seen for a MG 1100 is as a racecar! Nick Donnelly races one down here, it is quite quick. He gave me a bit of a hard time in my spridge

When I went down to King City Ca. to look at what became MY MG NA, there sitting beside the barn was a "Factory prepared race 1100" someday to be restored to former glory! Terry
