MG were giving away this http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/images/mgvbmw.jpg in newspapers a couple of weeks ago but with little info as to what lead up to the claim. This puts a lot more meat on the bones

Hmm, about the only thing this test proves is that a *comparably equipped* 3-series is more expensive than the MG. Big surprise there. On a fairer comparison (i.e. 325) I think the results would be
