- I have a new repro J2 block, present bore is under 57 mm. Can I bore this block to accept 60 mm pistons safely? Or will my PA engine bore to 60 mm safely. Thanks for any information, I don't know muc

- The standard bore on a J2 was 57mm, if yours is less than that it must never have been bored correctly. I would not recommend boring it to 60mm. The PA was also originally 57mm, but with care it can
