I've seen a guy try to smash a Nokia phone. He tried a hammer. It didn't work. He had to use a BF hammer to make the phone stop working.

Because cell phones are subjected to stresses in everyday use. A good phone (Nokia) is harder to break than a crappy phone (insert your preference here). BTW, I didn't state anything about standards
