- The info I have ID's a 18G with no letter following (e.g. 18GA, 18GB) are from model years 7/62-Spring 64. "WE" denotes fully synchronized 4-speed "H" denotes high compression Hope this helps. Steve

- Yeah, but... no 18G's ever had full synchro trannies... so, assuming Scott didn't make up the WE digits, my guess is he missed a character after the G, probably an H., making it an 18GH motor, 1968-7
