- Is the differential carrier (the piece the ring gear is bolted to) any different in the MGA, vs the early MGB, vs the late MGB rear end? If it is different is it still interchangeable? Larry Hoy

- Thanks to all who wrote. Bottom line? MGA and the MGB (with the banjo housing) gears, carrier and whole pumpkin interchange. There is a difference in the sun gear splines. Looks like it's a no go try
