I tried the foam, didn't help. The best thing you can do is have the flap that goes in front of the windsheld frame be a really snug seal. At this point I'm considering putting on an aftermarket lock

When I installed the top on my TD which is practically the same, I put a thin strip of foam UNDER the bow cover. That way it wouldn't absorb water. If you put the strip on OVER the bow cover you must

I had a 59 MGA in 66-67 while in the Army, and it had the same air leak. Actually, at speed the darn thing bowed up a good two inches and became a giant fresh air scoop, nice in the summer but wow! r

Wow. I have never seen this happen to the top of my '57A -- although I have not put the top up in over 12 months. Perhaps age makes the wood stiffer and less prone to lifting? Simon

Actually It's the other way around. A new front bow is flat and must be pressed down hard to get the screws tightened. An old bow becomes warped from moisture and follows the contour. Thus it's not a
