Actally, both. I assume that you have steel wheels rather than wires. You can run tubless on the steel wheels. A 5.60x15 was standard for bias ply whilst 165rx15 was the standard radial. Happy drivi

I have 165SR-15 tires on mine. They're not too hard to find and work well, no problem with appearance, performance, etc. The speedo seems to indicate the correct speed. Ron 58 MGA

There is a dunlop tire, I believe it is am SP20, size 155SR15 (may be 165SR15). I just got them on my MGA and really like them. Very similar size (to original), and they are inexpensive radials. Phil

That would probably work on the A alright but don't you need a higher load rating for the front tires of that TR-6 to support the lump under the bonnet? Seriously, I have 165 15 off brand snow tires

The TR6 is nose heavy? Seems absolutely svelte after the C/GT. Actually, you want tires with a balloon profile on a TR6 and then you want to hand-cut treads all the way over into the load rating. Thi

I've been using 165 Michelins on my TD vintage racer for three seasons, 20 high speed events. They work just fine but are a little noisy at times. 'Course 'high speed' is a relative term in a TD. Dic

Try a 165SR15. This is a bit wider than the original 560-15, but works qu= ite well on most TD-TFs and MGAs. Dunlop makes one which is commonly avai= lable at most tire stores for around $50 per tire
