couldn't else anywhere Hello Steve On the MGA the I thought that the chassis number stamped on the cross member on the passangers side of the car was the serial number for the car. Butch 51 TD 51 Y 6

As far as the serial number stamped on the frame cross member......... It only occurred for some MGAs. Of three that I checked, only one had it. If it is there, it will be stamped, (perhaps very ligh
